Ingredients:
Tamarind - Lemon size (4 cups of tamarind juice)

Channa Dal – 3 tsp.
Coriander seeds – 2
tsp.
Red chili – 4 nos.
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Rice – ¾ cup
Small onions - 10 nos.
Carrot, Peas, Potato, Capsicum, Tomato (Vegetables of your choice) - totally 3/4 cup
Turmeric Powder – ½
tsp.
Salt to taste
Oil – 3 tsp.
Procedure:
Soak the tamarind for
about 1 hr. Filter and take out the extract.
Now in a heated pan add
1 tsp. of oil, red chili,channa dal,coriander seeds and roast until golden
brown.
Once it cools off grind
in a mixer with little water to a fine paste.
In a pressure cooker
add 2 tsp.of oil,asafetida,small onions, chopped vegetables (carrots,potato,capsicum,tomato),rice,4
cups of tamarind juice, ground paste, curry leaves,salt and cook until 4 whistles.
Yummy Bisebelabath is
ready to be served hot with raita or potato fry.
