Kichadi / Kichuri

Ingredients:

Sona masoori rice  - ¾ cup

Moong dal – ½ cup

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp.

Green chili – 3 nos.

Ginger – ½ tsp.

Water – 6 cups

Oil – 3 tsp.

Procedure:

Pressure cook the rice along with moong dal,salt with 6 cups of water.

In a heated pan add oil, green chili,ginger,turmeric powder and fry in a low flame.



Now add the cooked rice with dal to the pan and cook for 3 mins until it mixes well with the tadka.




Yummy Kichadi is ready to be served hot.
