Ragi Idiyappam


Ingredients:

Ragi flour – 2 cups

Water -  3 cups

Salt – 1 tsp

Oil – 2 tsp

Procedure:

·        Roast Ragi flour in a dry heated pan for 4 mins in a medium flame.

·         In a large pan add 3 cups of water, bring to a boil and turn off the heat .


 Now add the ragi flour,salt,oil and form a nice dough.

·       

Put the dough in small amounts into idyyappam presser and press out idyyappams into a idli plate greased with oil.



·

       Steam the idyyappams for 10 mins.




·         Serve hot and enjoy.




     


Note: Regular Idiyappam can be made by replacing Ragi flour by 2 cups of Rice flour.
