Classic Paratha

Ingredients:

Wheat flour – 2 cups

Salt – ½ tsp.

Ghee – 3 tsp.

Water – ¾ cup

Oil – ¼ cup

Procedure:

In a large bowl add the wheat flour,salt,ghee,water and knead the flour to a smooth soft dough.








Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.cover it with a wet cloth.

Now take small balls of dough and start rolling with a rolling pin.

First flatten it out,now apply little oil using a brush and sprinkle some wheat flour.






Now start folding the dough from one end ( as you fold a saree pallu) and roll it tightlyback into a round shape.





Now again flatten it out using a rolling pin into medium thickness.




Heat a Tawa and start frying your parathas,by applying little oil on both side until its golden brown.




Yummy parathas are ready to be served hot.
