Veggie Pizza



Ingredients:


00 Bread Flour – 2 cups (for the dough)


Olive Oil – 3 tsp


Active dry Yeast – 8 0z (1 pack)


Sugar-2 tsp


Salt – 1 tsp


Pizza Sauce- 3 tsp


Luke warm water – 1 cup


Vegetable of your choice – (onion,capsicum,broccoli,jalapenos,pineapple,tomato)


Grated Mozzarella cheese – ½ cup

            Procedure:


1. In a dry large bowl, add the active dry yeast,2 tsp sugar and 2 tsp Luke warm water. Leave it for 5 mins until the yeast rise.


2. Now add 1 cup of the flour to the yeast mixture add water little by little until it forms a sticky dough.


3. Now add the other 1 cup of the flour mixed with salt (1 tsp) to this sticky dough. Mix it well add the water as needed until it forms a dough that does not stick to the hands much.


4. Transfer the dough to a vessel greased with olive oil and cover it tightly with a clear wrap.


5. Let the dough stand for 2 hrs until it rise double in size.


6. Now divide the dough into four halves. Take one half and roll it on a surface sprinkled with the flour. Flatten it out nicely so that its thick at the ends and little thinner in the inner side.


7. Preheat the Oven to 500F.


8. Add the pizza sauce to the base, cheese and the vegetables. Bake in the oven for 8 mins until its golden brown on the edges.


9. Remove and slice it enjoy.


Note: For Best results use a pizza stone rather than a pizza pan.
