Mysore Rasam

Ingredients:

Tamarind extract – 2 Cups

Tomato – 1 No.

Ginger – 1 Tsp.

Coriander for garnishing

Lemon juice – 2 Tsp.

Salt to taste

Rasam powder – 2 Tsp.

Procedure:

In a medium vessel take tamaraind juice,add chopped tomato,ginger,rasam powder,coriander and bring to a boil in a medium flame.

Now simmer and cook for another 3 mins.

Remove from heat, once it’s warm add the lemon juice and serve.

Yummy Mysore rasam is ready to be served.





Note: Pineapple can also be added to the above recipe, it adds an excellent flavour to this dish.
