Ingredients:
Tamaraind- Lemon size
Pepper – 1 tsp.
Red chili – 1
Toor dal – 1 tsp.
Asafetida – 1 pinch
Oil – 1 tsp.(for
frying)
Salt –1 tsp.
Procedure:
In a Heated pan roast
the pepper,red chili,toor dal,salt until golden brown.Once it cools off
completely grind in a mixer to a fine paste.
Soak the tamarind for 2
hrs.
In a vessel add asafoetida
,tamarind extract and bring to a boil.Now add the ground paste to this and cook
for another 3 mins.
Remove from heat and
serve hot.
Note:
This
is a healthy recipe especially when you fall sick. Black pepper stimulates
the taste buds in such a way that an alert is sent to the stomach to increase
hydrochloric acid secretion, thereby improving digestion.
