Dahi Vada


Ingredients:

For the Vada batter – look for my medhu vada recipe

Yogurt – 1 cup

Water – ½ cup

Green chili – 2 nos.

Grated coconut – 3 tsp

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Coriander,boondhi,carrots for garnishing

Procedure:


·         With Vada batter fry the vadas and simultaneously in a large vessel boil 2 cups of water,reduce heat.

·         Once the vadas are fried transfer it to the boiling water,allow it to stand for 2 mins.

·         Prepare the dahi in the meantime.Take yogurt in a large flat vessel add ½ cup of water,salt.In a mixer  grind the green chili with coconut to a fine paste and add it to the Yogurt,mix it well.

·         Now take out the vadas by draining excess water and soak it in yogurt mixture.
        
       Yummy dahi vadas are ready to enjoy.
