This
is a yummy delicious evergreen recipe loved by people of all ages.Lets see how
to make it and its ingredients.This Recipe makes 9 ladoos.
Ingredients:
Besan
– 1 cup
Sooji
– 1 tbsp
Water
– 1 cup
Sugar
– ¾ cup
Oil
for frying
Orange
food color
Cardamom
powder – pinch
Saffron
– 6 strands
Almonds
– 2 tsp for garnishing
Procedure:
· First prepare the batter for making Boondhi. Mix.Mix besan and sooji together by adding water little by little to a pouring consistency.

Now heat oil in a wide pan and use a
perforated ladle (use either of the ladel in the picture) to make boondhi. Pour.Pour the batter on the ladle keep it little close to the oil and gently scrub the ladle with hands so that the
boondhi drop in oil.
Note: if the Boondhi comes out with tails don't panic as we are going to grind it to make motichoor ladoos.
· Fry for 3 mins by turning it frequently
until it becomes golden and crisp.

In the meanwhile make the sugar syrup in
a wide pan by adding sugar and 2/3 cups of water to a one string
consistency.(when you take the syrup between 2 fingers it should form a
thread).

Now add cardamom powder,add the entire boondhi
to this syrup and mix it well.
·
When the mixture becomes warm add 2 tbsp.
of hot boiling water and grind in food processor
(or a mixer) for 2 mins about
3 rotations.
Note:
In a mixer just give 1 rotation otherwise it will become a powder.
· Now take the mixture from the food
processor and put it on a plate, add saffron strands,almonds and start making
ladoos.

Garnish with remaining almonds. Wow the
Ladoo looks Yum.
